WORDS has been giving priority to tribal , small & Marginalizes unorganized laborer, Child education, Nutrion & health -Sanitation ,  Migration  and Natural resource management child rights sustainable agriculture development and people centered advocacy for larger issue.

Structure of the organization:-

The executive body consist of 7 members and the centrally implemented the program and activities by the institutional rules and regulation. The Chairman is responsible to sign. The legal documents on behalf of the organization and authorized for day-to-day functioning of the organization. There is a program team headed by Chairman responsible for implementation of its program.

Nature of the Organization:-

To develop , non-profitable, non political, social development  organization is only involved in sustainable development due to community right base approach.

Strategy:-

The action and strategies of WORDS are confined to the Empowerment and capacity mode by enrichment of people.

Major Areas are:-

Undertaking poverty issues through capacity building, networking and alliance for issues, peoples advocacy for pro poor policy.

Target Group:-

Small and Marginal farmers, Tribal peoples, landless, orphan, widow, child, women, disabled migrant laborer and other un-organized labourer.

Operation Areas of WORDS NGO:-

Covered 57 villages, 8 Gps (Banjipadar, Mahulpada, Naren and Bijepur of Titilagarh Block) and Malisira, Sirol, Bankel and Bitabandha of Muribahal Block, Balangiri District.

Titilagarh, Muribahal, and Bongamunda Block in Bolangir district and Mathili, Khairput Block in Malkangir District Odisha.
